Ditigal Storytelling

1. Digital storytelling is a great tool. It develops settings to promote reflective practice and foster connections in students. Digital story telling incorporates, video, music, text, audios, video clips. Through digital storytelling, individuals learn to tell their story. I can have the children do an assignment in culture, and start off with a photos of the the front of their home or with a birth photo with parents, this gives us an idea of the parents, hispanics, chinese, african american, etc. then the students can share a toddler photo celebrating their heritage. In my lesson plan i can incorporate this digital storytelling re: each of their cultures, a great way to share with the class photos of the child and their families.

3. I would also like to use the children's voice on the the voice thread as the guide through their storytelling project, they can state in their own voices, this is my home, me at christmas, me at the celebration of Cinco De May or Dia De Los Muertes, or celebrating Kwanza, etc..
